A brief history of Click & Speak

• In 2007-2010, Fabien Snauwaert, the author of what would later become Click & Speak, teaches English and researches methods to learn languages.
• In 2011, Fabien learns enough Hungarian in two months to be able to communicate on a daily basis in the language.
• In 2011-2013, Fabien travels the world, experiments with more tools to learn languages, and creates a frequency list of the top 5,000 words in American English.
• In 2014, Fabien experiments with a new way to see the pronunciation of English.
• In 2015, Click & Speak launches for a French audience. Students use it up to 3 hours a day to learn English.
• In October 2021: Click & Speak launches to a global audience in 22 new languages.
